Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable, and engaging Performance Audit Trainer / Consultant to lead workshops, design training programs, and consult with clients on maturity assessment initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver customized training programs on performance audit frameworks, tools, and techniques. Facilitate interactive workshops for auditors, public sector professionals, and internal audit teams. Guide organizations in implementing or enhancing their performance audit practices. Develop course materials, case studies, practical exercises, and assessment tools. Provide expert advice on performance audit planning, execution, and reporting. Assess and report on training outcomes and transformation impact. Stay current with international standards and guidelines (e.g., ISSAI, INTOSAI). Evaluate training effectiveness and provide reports and recommendations for improvements. Qualifications
Master’s or PhD degree in Accounting, Auditing, Public Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance auditing or public sector auditing. Previous experience as a trainer or facilitator in audit-related topics. Strong understanding of performance audit principles, criteria, and reporting practices. Familiarity with international auditing standards (e.g., ISSAI, INTOSAI guidelines). Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Certifications such as CIA, CGAP, CISA, or relevant public sector audit qualifications are an asset. Language
English or Arabic Preferred Attributes
Experience with capacity-building projects or institutional reform initiatives. Ability to adapt content to different audiences and sectors. Proven consulting experience with public institutions or supreme audit institutions (SAIs). What We Offer
