Job Description
GPR Operator We are looking for a skilled GPR Operator to support subsurface utility detection and mapping projects across Saudi Arabia. The role involves operating advanced Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) systems, interpreting results, and integrating outputs with GIS and CAD platforms in compliance with municipality and utility authority standards in KSA. Responsibilities
Operate GPR equipment to perform subsurface investigations and underground utility detection. Interpret radargrams and assist in identifying buried utilities, voids, pipelines, and anomalies. Collect geospatial data using GNSS / GPS and integrate results with GIS and CAD deliverables. Prepare detection and mapping reports in accordance with Saudi municipalities’ and utility agencies’ requirements. Ensure proper calibration, handling, and maintenance of GPR and related field equipment. Follow safety protocols and perform surveys in urban, construction, and off-road environments. Document findings through detailed field notes, sketches, photos, and digital data logs. Coordinate with surveyors, GIS specialists, and project engineers to ensure accuracy and completeness of deliverables. Qualifications
Proven experience operating GPR systems (e.g., IDS GeoRadar, Mala, GSSI) in utility detection and mapping. Familiarity with GPR data processing software (e.g., GRED HD, RADAN, or equivalent). Basic understanding of underground utility networks (water, sewer, electrical, telecom, stormwater, etc.). Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, utility records, and topographic maps. Experience in Saudi Arabia with municipalities and utility authorities (preferred). Strong technical reporting skills; English required (Arabic is an advantage). Valid Saudi driving license (preferred). Job Features
