Health and Safety - Senior Manager

JASARA PMC, a prominent company in the construction and project management industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Senior Manager to join our team. As the Health and Safety Senior Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive health and safety strategies and programs to ensure the well-being of our employees and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Responsibilities

Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Establish and maintain effective systems for identifying, assessing, and controlling potential hazards and risks. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement. Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to project teams and internal stakeholders. Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Develop and deliver health and safety training programs to raise awareness and promote a culture of safety. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, changes in regulations, and best practices, and implement enhancements to our health and safety program. Maintain effective relationships with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on health and safety performance. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in the construction or engineering industry. Strong knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations and standards. Proven track record in developing and implementing health and safety strategies and programs. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH or OSHA are strongly preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic is required.
