We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to ensure that our customers in the Petrochemical and Refinery sectors receive customized solutions for electricity, heating, and cooling.

What you’ll do :
Understand Customer’s Challenges and Requirements in their daily production routine
Review Customers’ Plant Process Design.
Produce Process Design for temperature control systems or Power delivery systems resolving Customers’ Challenges and utilizing Aggreko Fleet Items.
Develop innovative project specific systems aiming at Customers’ process enhancements through Temperature Control or Power Delivery to meet client requirements.
Produce heat and mass balance diagrams of Customer Processes as well as solutions proposed using industry standard software (SYMMETRY, HTRI) to quantify economically the added value delivered to Customers by the Temperature Control Solutions proposed.
Produce P&ID’s, Process Flow Diagrams, layout drawings, equipment specifications and other engineering design deliverables.
Size and Specify relief valves, heat exchangers, two and three phase separators, heaters, pumps, compressors, piping and other process equipment.
Perform pressure loss calculations for pipe networks and fuel storage systems.
Be familiar with explosive atmosphere design, produce hazardous area calculations and maps to IGEM SR 25 and BS EN . Provide information and specification of equipment to design teams for equipment selection.
Lead and take part in Hazard and Operability studies (HAZOP) to BS EN 61882.
Be conversant with the following codes. API RP 521, NACE-MR0175
Ensure compliance to relevant pressure systems directives e.g., PED, ASME as required, depending on site location for pressure vessels, piping, boilers etc.
Provide technical support for the central and regional operations and project delivery teams. Establish a reputation for sound technical advice.
You’ll have the following skills and experience
Experience with Refineries, Petrochemical plants as well as Gas and Oil installations.
Conversant to Customers’ Process Engineers, and capable to “Sell” Solutions
Familiar with Thermodynamics and Fluid Dynamics of : Water Chillers, Cooling Towers, Heat Exchangers (S&T, PHE, S&P), Air Coolers, Air Conditioning, Diesel and Gas Power Generator.
Minimum degree qualified in Mechanical, Process or Chemical Engineering.
Experience in piping and pipe network design
Understanding of Engineering processes and appreciation of the commercial constraints.
Ability to work effectively under pressure. Driven for results and sufficiently organized to be involved in several projects producing good quality work on time and within cost budget.
Breadth of vision to balance the needs of reliability, maintainability, and efficient performance within the commercial constraints. Ability to understand the needs of the end user.
Able to travel worldwide when required.
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
Project management and ability to lead site teams toward key deliverables.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver quality work on time and within budget.
Understanding of engineering processes and commercial constraints.
Knowledge of international codes and standards for pressure systems and hazardous areas.
Minimum 8 years of experience in process engineering within petrochemical / refinery environments.
