Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for banking applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for core banking and financial applications.
- Identify, record, and track defects using bug tracking tools; work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Validate compliance of applications with banking regulations, security standards, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing for banking applications as needed.
- Review and analyze requirements, design documents, and workflows for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure high quality of software releases through meticulous testing and documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement of QA processes, testing frameworks, and best practices.
- Support production issue investigation and provide recommendations for bug fixes or enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience in QA testing within the banking or financial services sector.Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Quality Center).Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.Knowledge of banking systems, core banking applications, digital banking, payment processing, or fintech solutions.Familiarity with both manual and automated testing techniques.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Details
