Applications Quality Assurance Manager

SWATX is on the lookout for a proactive Applications Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality assurance efforts and ensure the delivery of top-tier software applications. In this strategic role, you will oversee the entire QA process, from developing and implementing quality assurance strategies to managing testing phases and leading a talented team of QA specialists. Your leadership will be essential in defining quality standards, optimizing testing methodologies, and driving a culture of quality across all development teams.

You will collaborate extensively with product management, development, and operations teams to identify quality benchmarks and facilitate the resolution of defects before software deployment. Your experience in software testing and quality assurance will be key to enhancing product quality and improving customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience : 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of QA professionals, fostering a collaborative and productive environment.
• Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks, with experience in automation testing.
• Strategic Thinking : Ability to develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies aligned with business goals.
• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and drive continuous improvement.
• Agile Methodology : Extensive experience with Agile development practices and understanding of CI / CD processes.
• Certifications : Relevant quality assurance certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are advantageous.
