Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager with expertise in either the concrete or road construction industry to join our dynamic team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and developing key client accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving business growth within these sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients. The Key Account Manager will work closely with various departments to deliver solutions that meet client needs while aligning with company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients in the concrete or road construction industry, understanding their specific needs and aligning them with company offerings.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts in either sector and develop strategies to expand these accounts effectively.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues related to concrete or road construction products and services promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to deliver tailored solutions to clients in the concrete or road sectors.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on account status, sales forecasts, and market trends specific to concrete or road construction to senior management.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients in the concrete or road construction sectors to ensure satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor competitors and industry trends in the concrete and road construction markets to identify potential threats and opportunities for the business.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients in these sectors to secure favorable terms for the company.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while managing client accounts in the concrete or road construction industries.
  • Participate in industry events and networking opportunities related to concrete or road construction to promote the company and its services.

Preferred Candidate

  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or similar role in the concrete or road construction industry or related field.
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management and sales principles specific to concrete or road products.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels within the concrete or road markets.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends related to concrete or road construction to inform strategic decisions.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and a strong desire to exceed targets in the concrete or road sectors.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing accounts within these industries.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about solutions in the concrete or road construction sectors.
  • A relevant degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

  • Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential for building rapport with clients in the concrete or road sectors and presenting ideas clearly.
