The Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying customer needs, proposing suitable technical solutions, and driving sales growth by developing and maintaining strong client relationships. This role combines technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to support customers throughout the sales cycle — from technical presentations to post-sale support.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with potential customers in the assigned market.
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored technical and commercial solutions.
- Prepare and deliver product presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure customer needs are fully met.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Provide technical support and training to customers when required.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM systems.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
