Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to join our Operations team in the Operational Excellence Division. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and monitoring schedules for both production and capital projects to ensure timely, cost-effective, and efficient execution.
The Scheduler will utilize advanced scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project and Primavera P6 to ensure accurate planning, resource allocation, progress tracking, and forecasting. This position provides critical insights for decision-making, supports cross-functional teams, and ensures alignment with organizational goals and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain integrated schedules for production and capital projects
- Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to gather input and regularly update schedules
- Monitor schedule performance, track progress, and identify risks, delays, and recovery opportunities
- Generate reports, dashboards, and forecasts for management and clients
- Perform critical path analysis and resource leveling to optimize timelines
- Support planning of shutdowns, maintenance, and commissioning activities
- Ensure schedule baseline consistency and compliance with project management standards
- Identify plan deviations, provide early warnings, and recommend corrective actions
Qualifications
Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or related fieldMinimum 8 years of experience in scheduling production and capital projects in industrial / manufacturing environmentsProficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project (mandatory)Strong knowledge of scheduling methodologies (WBS development, resource loading, critical path method)Demonstrated ability to prepare and interpret project schedules and performance indicatorsEffective English communication skills (written and verbal)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while managing multiple projects#J-18808-Ljbffr
