Job Purpose : Lead and oversee the supplier relationship and performance management function to ensure suppliers deliver consistent value, compliance, and service excellence in alignment with SOPC’s procurement strategy and organizational objectives. This role is responsible for establishing supplier performance frameworks, managing strategic supplier relationships, conducting performance evaluations, mitigating supplier risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Director ensures supplier compliance with policies, contractual obligations, and sustainability standards while fostering partnerships that enhance operational efficiency, innovation, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

Supplier Relationship Management

• Lead the development and execution of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) frameworks and engagement models across all procurement categories.
• Build and sustain strong partnerships with key strategic suppliers to drive innovation, efficiency, and shared value creation.
• Act as the senior liaison for escalations, dispute resolution, and executive-level communication with critical suppliers.
