Lead and oversee the supplier relationship and performance management function to ensure suppliers deliver consistent value, compliance, and service excellence in alignment with SOPC’s procurement strategy and organizational objectives. This role is responsible for establishing supplier performance frameworks, managing strategic supplier relationships, conducting performance evaluations, mitigating supplier risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Director ensures supplier compliance with policies, contractual obligations, and sustainability standards while fostering partnerships that enhance operational efficiency, innovation, and cost optimization. Supplier Relationship Management

Lead the development and execution of Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) frameworks and engagement models across all procurement categories. Build and sustain strong partnerships with key strategic suppliers to drive innovation, efficiency, and shared value creation. Act as the senior liaison for escalations, dispute resolution, and executive-level communication with critical suppliers. Supplier Performance Management

Develop and implement performance evaluation systems to assess supplier delivery, quality, cost, responsiveness, and compliance. Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and scorecards for high-priority suppliers, ensuring transparency and accountability. Drive performance improvement plans for underperforming suppliers and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented. Supplier Risk Management

Identify and assess supplier-related risks including financial, operational, and reputational exposure. Lead mitigation strategies, including audits, due diligence, and supplier contingency planning. Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Internal Audit to ensure full compliance with risk management and governance frameworks. Supplier Development and Innovation

Foster supplier capability development through collaboration programs, training sessions, and innovation workshops. Encourage suppliers to adopt sustainability, digitalization, and quality improvement initiatives aligned with SOPC standards. Data Integrity and Systems Management

Oversee the integrity and accuracy of supplier data and performance records within SAP and related procurement systems. Support the automation and digitalization of SRM processes for improved analytics, reporting, and decision-making. Performance Analytics and Reporting

Lead the creation of dashboards and reports on supplier performance trends, risk exposure, and strategic value delivery. Present data-driven insights and recommendations to the Senior Director and senior leadership for informed decision-making. Compliance and Governance

Ensure all supplier engagements, evaluations, and renewals comply with SOPC policies, contractual obligations, and ethical sourcing principles. Regularly review and update governance controls to align with internal audit findings and regulatory changes. Team Performance Management

Manage and develop the Supplier Relationship & Performance team, setting clear objectives, KPIs, and development plans. Promote a performance-driven culture that emphasizes accountability, collaboration, and professional growth. Budget Oversight

Oversee budget planning and expenditure within the supplier management function to ensure effective resource utilization.
