Preparing studies and reports, specifications, drawings, and cost estimates for small to large scale private telecommunication networks. Meet regularly with outside clients, not only providing updates but assessing current design needs. Direct experience (10 years) with the planning, design, and application of private telecommunications networks and systems. BS or MS degree in Electrical or Computer Science Engineering. Experience designing UHF and VHF land mobile radio systems, microwave radio systems, digital microwave, wireless broadband data networks, or fiber optics networks for wide-area multimedia applications. Any design experience with the following would be a big plus : Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, Energy Management Systems (EMS), Substation Automation (SA) systems, Distribution Automation (DA) systems, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), enterprise Wide Area Networks (WANs), public safety communications, and remote security surveillance systems.
