To prepare for service as directed by the Head Chef / Supervisor. Setting tables with table linens, crockery, cutlery and glassware, to serve food and beverages as home delivery service, ensuring a high standard of service to ensure that the restaurant is maintained in clean and hygienic conditionsat all times.
To work in all areas of the catering department undertaking a variety of tasks as required, including general cleaning, stores, movement of equipment and waste disposal.
- Prepares necessary beverages for guests.
- Wraps utensil packs in accordance with the various orders.
- Placing and serving the food for the client.
- Transports to and deliver the meal from the kitchen to the service line
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing of all food service areas, crockery and cutlery wares, bain-marie’s, trolleys, shelves, refrigerators and hot cabinets, plus the sweeping and mopping of all floors in the restaurant area.
