Contract Manager

Position Title : Contract Manager Location : Riyadh, KSA Reporting to : Commercial Director Hill International Project Management Consultancy Hill International provides program, project, and construction management services for clients in various sectors undertaking major construction projects worldwide. Our services include cost engineering and estimating, quality assurance, inspection, scheduling, risk management, and claims avoidance. General Description of Role and Responsibilities : Management and coordination of the contract award process. Development of contract documents, including tender documents. Management of the Owner approval process. Monitoring contract correspondence. Management of claims avoidance activities. Coordination of contract execution. Maintenance of contract documents. Processing of contractor documents. Schedule administration. Administration of changes. Risk management administration. Assistance to the Project Controls Manager for project reporting requirements. Ensuring effective operation of the Project Execution Plan. Adherence to Hill International's Quality, Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals, and Procedures, ensuring ongoing compliance. Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager / supervisor. Skills and Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent from an accredited university. Minimum of 15 years of experience in contract management, including responsibility for managing large projects and supervising all types of contracts across project stages and systems. Experience in managing pressure distribution, execution, and business management; drafting and managing contracts; bid requests and evaluations; awarding; contractor performance monitoring; retrospective costing; claims and dispute resolution; and knowledge of engineering / construction contracting practices, government procurement, and commercial policies. Proven ability in pricing, contract drafting, negotiations, correspondence, planning, and scheduling. Comprehensive knowledge of managing major contracts, subcontracts, site execution, and related documents across disciplines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferably, experience working on a global scale, especially in the Middle East or Saudi Arabia.
