Senior BI (SQL,Tera, Orcale, Altrex,BI tools “Dashboard tools")

Responsibilities

• Develop Internal Reports

Data Collection and Analysis : Gather data from various internal and external sources relevant to customs, zakat, and tax domains. Analyse data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that may impact reporting.

KPI Identification and Mapping : Collaborate with strategic planning teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to customs, zakat, and tax. Map internal reporting metrics to strategic KPIs to ensure alignment with organisational goals.

Data Validation and Quality Assurance : Implement rigorous data validation checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting data. Conduct regular audits and reviews of data sources and reporting processes.

Stakeholder Engagement : Engage with business stakeholders to gather feedback on reporting needs and preferences. Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss report enhancements and modifications.

Education

Bachelor's degree Computer science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 6 years of experience in internal reporting, data analysis, or a related field. Proven experience in developing reports within customs, zakat, and tax domains is highly desirable.

Technical Skills

Strong experience in SQL and working with different data warehouse technologies, Teradata experience is a plus. Proficiency in reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and statistical methods. Experience with data integration and automation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R).

Soft Skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications

Relevant certifications in data analytics or reporting (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, ) are a plus.
