Senior Power BI Engineer

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level reporting and analytics solutions using Microsoft Power BI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into actionable insights, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dashboards and reports that drive strategic decision-making. Responsibilities

Dashboard Development : Design and implement interactive and visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports. Data Modeling : Create efficient and scalable data models, relationships, and hierarchies in Power BI. ETL and Data Integration : Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI. Performance Optimization : Optimize reports and datasets for performance and scalability. Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the final deliverables meet business needs. Data Governance : Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Mentorship : Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance to improve team capabilities. Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve data and performance issues in Power BI. Qualifications and Experience

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience : Minimum 5+ years of experience with Power BI development, including advanced reporting and dashboard creation. Strong experience in data modeling and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). Hands-on experience with ETL tools like SSIS, Alteryx, or similar. Technical Skills : Advanced Power BI features (Power Query, Power Automate integration, Row-Level Security). Expertise in SQL for querying and data manipulation. Proficiency in data warehousing and multidimensional data structures. Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, or other cloud platforms. Knowledge of other visualization tools such as Tableau and Qlik. Why work here?
