Overview
The Interior Designer is responsible for developing functional, aesthetically compelling interior spaces based on client needs and design standards. This includes concept development, space planning, FF&E selection, 2D / 3D visualization, client presentations, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Design & Concept Development
- Create mood boards and concept presentations based on project style and client preferences
- Conduct effective space planning for both functionality and aesthetics
Technical Design & Visualization
Produce 2D / 3D visuals using SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe SuitePrepare layout sheets, item files, and confirmation boardsFF&E Selection & Procurement Support
Source furniture, finishes, fabrics, and accessories aligned with design directionPrepare and update BOQs and order sheets with accurate specificationsClient Interaction & Presentation
Attend meetings and present design concepts professionallyIncorporate client feedback efficiently and ensure design alignmentProject Coordination & Execution
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and site teams for delivery and installationConduct site visits and supervise implementation to ensure design integrityPrepare and distribute installation documentationQualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field2–5 years of experience, ideally in luxury residential or commercial designPortfolio showcasing mood boards, 2D / 3D layouts, and completed projectsSkills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop / InDesign, MS Office (3Ds Max is a plus)Strong aesthetic sense of materials, layout, and furniture selectionAbility to communicate effectively with clients and teamsCapable of multitasking and managing timelines under pressureDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
