Overview

The Interior Designer is responsible for developing functional, aesthetically compelling interior spaces based on client needs and design standards. This includes concept development, space planning, FF&E selection, 2D / 3D visualization, client presentations, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design & Concept Development

  • Create mood boards and concept presentations based on project style and client preferences
  • Conduct effective space planning for both functionality and aesthetics

Technical Design & Visualization

  • Produce 2D / 3D visuals using SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite
  • Prepare layout sheets, item files, and confirmation boards

    • FF&E Selection & Procurement Support

  • Source furniture, finishes, fabrics, and accessories aligned with design direction
  • Prepare and update BOQs and order sheets with accurate specifications

    • Client Interaction & Presentation

  • Attend meetings and present design concepts professionally
  • Incorporate client feedback efficiently and ensure design alignment

    • Project Coordination & Execution

  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and site teams for delivery and installation
  • Conduct site visits and supervise implementation to ensure design integrity
  • Prepare and distribute installation documentation

    • Qualifications & Requirements

    Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience, ideally in luxury residential or commercial design
  • Portfolio showcasing mood boards, 2D / 3D layouts, and completed projects

    • Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop / InDesign, MS Office (3Ds Max is a plus)
  • Strong aesthetic sense of materials, layout, and furniture selection
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and teams
  • Capable of multitasking and managing timelines under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
