Overview Job Title : Accountant

Job Overview We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to support the finance department in day-to-day operations, reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting procedures, software systems, and financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing general accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, intercompany transactions, and bookkeeping.

Maintain confidentiality of financial data and perform system backups when needed.

Prepare daily entries, financial reports, and monthly financial statements.

Track payments to internal and external stakeholders and process tax-related payments and returns.

Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closings.

Reconcile account balances and ensure accurate and timely bank transactions.

Compute and file tax returns as required.

Prepare and manage balance sheets and profit / loss statements.

Audit transactions to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Analyze budget variances and income statements; submit reports to the Finance Manager / Director.

Maintain and manage fixed assets, including depreciation and disposals.

Recommend improvements to financial procedures and systems.

Ensure compliance with local regulatory and tax requirements.

Collaborate with management teams to provide financial insights.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

4–5 years of experience in accounting.

Proficient in both Arabic and English.

Experience with SAP and other accounting software.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus.
