Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Sports Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering engaging sports sessions that enhance physical fitness, develop skills, and promote teamwork and discipline among participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver structured training sessions tailored to the age, ability, and fitness levels of participants.
  • Teach the fundamentals, techniques, and strategies of the assigned sport(s).
  • Ensure safe use of sports equipment and facilities, adhering to all safety and health guidelines.
  • Motivate and encourage participants to achieve their fitness and performance goals.
  • Monitor individual and group progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Organize sports events, competitions, and tournaments where applicable.
  • Maintain attendance records and progress reports.
  • Promote values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline.
  • Stay updated with new training methods, rules, and regulations in the relevant sport(s).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Certification or accreditation in relevant sport(s) or fitness training.
  • Proven experience as a coach, trainer, or sports instructor.
  • Strong knowledge of rules, techniques, and training methods in the assigned sport.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor individuals of varying skill levels.
  • First Aid / CPR certification mandatory
