Chief Accountant

Overview Accounting professional with experience in financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, tax compliance, and process improvement. Responsibilities

Manage vendor payments and invoice processing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and internal controls, while improving accounts payable workflows.

Lead Accounts Receivable operations, ensuring accurate invoicing, compliance, and process improvements while fostering team development and stakeholder engagement.

Prepare and review financial statements, manage audits, budgeting, and variance analysis; oversee tax compliance and internal controls.

Supervise daily accounting operations, verify bank reconciliations, prepare financial reports, and support junior staff with strong analytical and leadership skills.

Maintain financial records, assist in budgeting, ensure compliance, manage accounts payable and receivable, and support cost control initiatives.

Lead financial closing, IFRS compliance, and ERP-enabled operations, with experience in cash flow management and financial reporting.

Track costs in oil and gas operations, prepare budgets, ensure compliance, and improve cost management with ERP proficiency.

Handle invoicing, reconciliations, collections tracking, and collaboration with departments to ensure regulatory compliance.

Manage inventory accounting and stock movements, ensuring accurate valuation and VAT compliance (SAP knowledge preferred).

Develop accounting systems, finalize accounts, prepare financial reports, and manage inventory with emphasis on VAT.

Implement and support ERP modules (e.g., Oracle, JD Edwards) and provide user training and issue resolution.

Oversee operations in sectors including Oil & Gas, hospitality, and construction with a focus on compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CA preferred for some roles).

ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, or similar) and strong proficiency in accounting software.

Knowledge of IFRS, Saudi tax laws, VAT, and internal controls.

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills; fluent in English.

Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, audits, and cost control; GCC regulations knowledge is a plus.

Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across various sectors and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
