Operation and Maintenance manger II

الوصف الوظيفيDevelop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans for all BHS equipment and systems. Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within budget. Track system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Lead, train, and develop a team of BHS operators and maintenance technicians to ensure optimal performance. Foster a collaborative team environment and ensure all team members are aligned with the company’s operational goals. Set clear expectations for team performance and provide guidance and support. Maintain and monitor the contract KPIs to ensure optimal performance and compliance with agreed-upon metrics. Regularly assess KPI performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Report on KPI status and provide insights to management for continuous improvement. Manage the budget for BHS operations and maintenance activities, ensuring cost-effective management of resources and expenditures. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement while maintaining the highest operational standards. Prepare and submit regular reports on BHS performance, maintenance activities, and any issues or incidents. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, system updates, and incident resolutions. Prepare the SOPs, CSOPs and SLA. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards, including ensuring proper training and certification for team members. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions as needed. Collaborate with other airport departments, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth coordination of activities related to BHS operations and maintenance. Engage with senior management and other stakeholders to provide updates on system performance and any planned upgrades or maintenance. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer decision-makers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and engagement. Anticipate the customer’s business needs, service requirements, and processes to exceed operational goals and improve the customer’s value chain. Lead process improvement projects to enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and system reliability. Identify and implement innovations and improvements that contribute to the continuous development of the service site. Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in BHS operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role in an airport environment. Technical Skills : In-depth knowledge of baggage handling systems and airport operations; familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations related to BHS; proficient in maintenance management software and tools. Leadership Skills : Proven experience in team leadership, training, and development. Problem-Solving : Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure. Deep understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in an operational environment. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong customer-focused mindset, with the ability to anticipate and address customer needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Strong decision-making abilities and a results-oriented mindset. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in BHS operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. In-depth knowledge of baggage handling systems and strong leadership skills are essential.

The BHS Operation and Maintenance Manager will oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and service of the Baggage Handling System (BHS) at Red Sea International Airport. The role is crucial in ensuring that the BHS operates smoothly and without disruption, maintaining a high level of reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, leading the maintenance team, and ensuring all safety and performance standards are met.
