Overview
The
Process and Systems Manager
will be responsible for leading the industrial business processes management, implement the IT landscape according to the defined processes and industrialize the product into the tools in a new manufacturing plant. This role blends deep process engineering and IT expertise with strong project management skills and cross-functional coordination. Once the system is deployed, this person will take ownership of the area in charge of maintaining and developing these tools over time, respecting the global template and being coordinated with the rest of the manufacturing plants templates. Responsibilities
Implementation & Process Definition
Lead the deployment of the full industrial IT landscape (ERP, Product Configurator, MES, PLM, Design Automation and Vendor’s portal), replicating a setup from existing site. Act as the link between industrial business needs and technical teams to ensure system readiness. Understand and document manufacturing-related processes (order management, production, logistics, quality, maintenance and finance) and translate them into clear functional requirements. Ensure a correct alignment between the IT landscape and IT infrastructure
Project & Team Management
Define and manage the area strategy, project budget, capacity analysis, schedules, risks, and milestones. Coordinate cross-functional teams (local and global) and ensure timely delivery of tasks and system go-lives. Set up and lead a support organization to sustain process definition and system deployment. Ensure robust master data governance (SAP MM / PP) and integration across tools (PLM–ERP–MES). Oversee system interfaces and material data integrity, including BOMs, sourcing rules, MRP parameters, and Mat-Rules. Provide ongoing functional support to industrialization and production teams. Lead user training and maintain system documentation. Ensure quality of developments through validation and user testing (UAT) and hypercare after the go-live. Drive continuous improvement of the IT environment post-implementation looking for efficiency and automation. Control the correct tools and process use from the users. Manage change adoption and foster a digital culture within the organization.
Required Profile
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Computer Science, or related fields (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred). 5+ years of experience in process engineering, digital industrialization, or IT implementation in manufacturing environments. Solid background working with SAP (minimum 3–5 years), especially in the PP, VC and MM modules. Experience with industrialization processes and involvement in greenfield plant projects or systemrollouts is a strong plus. Technical and Digital Skills
Expert knowledge of SAP VC, PP, MM Good understanding of PLM (Windchill or similar), Design Automation solutions and MES systems. Advanced Excel skills and strong command of office automation tools. Comfortable working across integrated IT landscapes, IT infrastructure, data analytics and industrial data flows. Core Competencies
Strong project management and organizational skills (PMP or similar certification is a plus). Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
