What this job involves :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Risk Manager to lead our enterprise risk management function across global commercial real estate operations. This strategic role will drive risk governance, oversee portfolio-wide risk assessment, and collaborate with C-suite executives to shape our risk appetite and strategic direction. The ideal candidate will bring deep CRE expertise and proven leadership in building world-class risk management frameworks. What your day-to-day will look like :

Develop and execute enterprise-wide risk management strategy aligned with business objectives Lead cross-functional risk committees and governance frameworks Advise senior leadership and board members on risk appetite, tolerance, and strategic decisions Drive integration of risk considerations into business planning and capital allocation processes Champion risk culture transformation across the organization Oversee sophisticated risk modeling including Monte Carlo simulations, VaR calculations, and stress testing Lead development of proprietary risk assessment methodologies for diverse CRE asset classes Required Skills and Experience :

Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Mathematics, or related quantitative field 10+ years of progressive risk management experience with 5+ years in senior roles Minimum 7 years of commercial real estate or related financial services experience Proven track record managing large, complex portfolios ($1B+ preferred) Expert-level proficiency in risk management software (Moody\'s Analytics, Trepp, Argus, etc.) Advanced skills in statistical software and programming (Python, R, SQL, MATLAB) Desired or preferred experience and technical skills :

Experience with REIT operations, institutional investment management, or investment banking International experience managing risks across multiple markets Track record of building risk management functions from ground up Experience with PropTech, digital transformation, or technology implementation Knowledge of alternative investment strategies and emerging asset classes Location :
