Overview
As a Senior IT Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be the technical cornerstone of our sales team. You will be responsible for understanding complex client challenges and designing innovative, integrated solutions that leverage our extensive portfolio of market-leading technologies. Your expertise will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation, ensuring we deliver exceptional value to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design : Architect end-to-end solutions incorporating networking, server / storage infrastructure, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity, using best-in-class products from our key partners.
- Technical Expertise : Serve as the subject matter expert on our core technology stack, including :
Networking : Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortigate
Security : Fortigate, Sophos, SangforCloud & Infrastructure : Microsoft Azure, Dell, HPE, Office365, AWSData Protection & Storage : Veeam, SynologyCollaboration : Grandstream, YealinkClient Engagement : Work directly with clients to conduct discovery sessions, assess requirements, and present compelling solutions through whiteboarding, presentations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) demonstrations.Proposal Development : Lead the response to RFPs / RFQs, creating detailed technical proposals, diagrams, documentation, and Bill of Materials (BOM).Collaboration : Work closely with our vendor partners, sales team, and project managers to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, accurate, and aligned with client goals.Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in an IT pre-sales, solutions architecture, or senior technical consultant role.Must-have Technical Knowledge :Strong practical knowledge of networking (Switching, Routing, Wireless) and cybersecurity (Firewalls, Endpoint Protection, Zero Trust).
Solid understanding of on-premises infrastructure (Servers, Storage, Virtualization) and cloud migration strategies (Microsoft Azure).Experience designing solutions that integrate products from multiple vendors.Must-have Partner Ecosystem Awareness :Hands-on experience or strong demonstrable knowledge of several of our key partners is essential : Microsoft, Cisco, Fortigate, Dell, HPE Aruba, Sophos, Veeam.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Preferred Certifications (One or more is a strong plus) :Networking : Cisco CCNA / CCNP, HPE Aruba ASE / ASP
