We are seeking a skilled Baker at the Chef de Partie level to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in artisan bread making , with a particular focus on sourdough production . This role requires deep knowledge of fermentation processes, dough handling, shaping techniques, and baking at various temperatures to consistently achieve high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and bake a variety of fresh breads daily, including sourdough and other artisan loaves.
- Monitor fermentation stages and adjust temperature and humidity levels to ensure optimal dough development.
- Develop new recipes and refine existing products to meet high-quality standards.
- Supervise and guide junior staff within the bakery section.
- Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and food safety in the work area.
- Coordinate with head chefs or production managers to align with kitchen or bakery needs.
Requirements :
Minimum 3 years of experience in artisan baking, with a strong focus on sourdough.Excellent skills in dough handling, fermentation science, and baking techniques.Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining consistency and quality.Sound knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.Culinary or bakery certification is preferred.We offer a full-time position with a seniority level of Executive, in the Hospitality industry, with a focus on Management and Manufacturing .
