Job Title : HSE Engineer
Department : Health, Safety & Environment
Reports To : HSE Manager / Project Manager
Job Purpose : To ensure compliance with company and client HSE policies, standards, and regulations by implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, and promoting a safe work culture at the project / site.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement and monitor HSE plans, policies, and procedures at the site.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions.
- Ensure all activities comply with local laws, regulations, and company HSE requirements.
- Deliver safety induction and toolbox talks to employees and subcontractors.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and recommend preventive actions.
- Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and training.
- Support the preparation and review of Method Statements and Risk Assessments (MSRA).
- Coordinate emergency drills and ensure readiness for emergency situations.
- Promote a positive HSE culture among all staff and subcontractors.
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Environmental Science (or equivalent).Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience in construction or industrial projects.NEBOSH IGC / OSHA / IOSH certification preferred.Good knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.Strong communication and report‑writing skills.Job Type : Full‑time, Permanent.
