BIM Coordinator

Overview

The Senior BIM Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and ensuring seamless collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. This position requires expertise in BIM standards, clash detection, model coordination, and project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in BIM methodologies, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive efficiency in large-scale construction projects. Key Responsibilities

Lead BIM coordination efforts across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Develop and enforce BIM execution plans (BEP) and project-specific standards. Conduct clash detection and resolution using Navisworks, Revit, or similar tools. Manage model integration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Facilitate collaboration between design teams, contractors, and stakeholders. Oversee the production of high-quality BIM models, drawings, and documentation. Train and mentor junior BIM staff on best practices and software utilization. Liaise with project managers to ensure BIM deliverables align with project timelines. Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and BIM standards. Essential Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 8+ years in BIM coordination, preferably in large-scale construction projects. Expert-level knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360. Familiarity with Dynamo, Solibri, or Tekla is a plus. Strong understanding of LOD standards, COBie, and ISO 19650. Experience in 4D / 5D BIM (scheduling and cost integration). Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and team leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. BIM-related certifications (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional, PMP, or equivalent) are highly desirable. Preferred Attributes

Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East on mega-projects. Knowledge of local construction regulations and BIM mandates. Fluency in Arabic is advantageous but not mandatory. Why Join?
