Chief Accountant

Overview

Supervise the accounting team and manage daily operations (recordings, payroll, bank reconciliations). Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Monitor tax and zakat obligations and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. Develop internal control systems and accounting procedures. Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies. Prepare financial reports for senior management and participate in financial decision-making. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent (Master's degree or professional certificate preferred). At least 5 years of practical experience in accounting, including 3 years in a supervisory position. Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax / zakat regulations. Proficiency in ERP software. Proficiency in Excel and experience with Power BI or financial analysis tools preferred. Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work within a team. CMA / CPA / ACCA / SOCPA or any other accredited professional accounting certification. Job Details
