TM and TM Arabia Limited have been awarded two lump-sum turn-keyEPC contracts related to a petrochemical expansion at the SATORP Refinery (aJV composed of Saudi Aramco and Total Energies), in Jubail, Kingdom of SaudiArabia.
Responsible in overseeing the selection of suppliers for Pipingand Mechanical discipline and ensuring they meet the company's qualitystandards. Additionally, they will provide technical support to suppliers,conduct training and workshops on quality standards, and communicateregularly with internal departments to address any supplier-related qualityissues.
Duties and responsibilities
Supervise the selection of suppliers, ensuring they adhere toour quality standards.
Evaluate suppliers' processes and systems for alignment with ourquality requirements.
Execute audits on suppliers' methodologies and systems,pinpointing areas that need enhancement.
Collaborate with suppliers to devise and execute improvementstrategies and corrective measures.
Manage supplier-related documentation such as contracts,performance assessments, and quality audits.
Engage in product development activities, ensuring qualityaspects are well integrated.
Monitor supplier performance indices and devise action planswhenever performance benchmarks aren't achieved.
Extend technical support relating to quality aspects to oursuppliers.
Organize training sessions and workshops focusing on qualitystandards for suppliers.
Facilitate regular interdepartmental communications withpurchasing, manufacturing, and engineering teams to resolve anysupplier-induced quality concerns.
Analyze manufacturing specifications for identifying rawmaterial needs.
Identify the best vendors for sourcing necessary materialsthrough meticulous exploration and assessment.
Visit vendor facilities periodically to observe manufacturingprocesses and evaluate their alignment with established procedures.
Conduct routine quality audits to ensure strict adherence to ourcompany and federal standards by vendors.
Examine incoming supplies and products to detect defects andverify quality.
Test and assess products to identify potential quality-relatedissues.
Compile comprehensive reports on supplier quality, highlightingdefect rates and problematic areas.
Dispense technical advice to suppliers aiming at defect ratereduction.
Act as an intermediary between our senior management andvendors, identifying and addressing quality concerns.
Knowledge & Qualifications
University Degree in Engineering or Diploma in a Mechanicaldiscipline or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the piping and mechanical discipline .
Similar role covered in last threeprojects of comparable size.
Experience working on Aramco projects with Contractor / Client side.
