Overview
The Interior Designer is responsible for developing functional, aesthetically compelling interior spaces based on client needs and design standards. This includes concept development, space planning, FF&E selection, 2D / 3D visualization, client presentations, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities
Design & Concept Development
Create mood boards and concept presentations based on project style and client preferences Conduct effective space planning for both functionality and aesthetics Technical Design & Visualization
Produce 2D / 3D visuals using SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite Prepare layout sheets, item files, and confirmation boards FF&E Selection & Procurement Support
Source furniture, finishes, fabrics, and accessories aligned with design direction Prepare and update BOQs and order sheets with accurate specifications Client Interaction & Presentation
Attend meetings and present design concepts professionally Incorporate client feedback efficiently and ensure design alignment Project Coordination & Execution
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and site teams for delivery and installation Conduct site visits and supervise implementation to ensure design integrity Prepare and distribute installation documentation Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field 2–5 years of experience, ideally in luxury residential or commercial design Portfolio showcasing mood boards, 2D / 3D layouts, and completed projects Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop / InDesign, MS Office (3Ds Max is a plus) Strong aesthetic sense of materials, layout, and furniture selection Ability to communicate effectively with clients and teams Capable of multitasking and managing timelines under pressure Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
