Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an

Electrical Design Senior Manager

for City Assets to lead the electrical design efforts for our cutting-edge urban developments. This role is integral in ensuring that all electrical systems comply with the highest standards of performance, sustainability, and accessibility, contributing to the vision of Qiddiya as a premier destination for entertainment and leisure. As the Electrical Design Manager, you will oversee the design and implementation of building electrical systems that support

Education, Security, Religious and Healthcare

facilities within the city. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all systems are seamlessly integrated and contribute to the overall functionality and aesthetic of our development.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the electrical design process for city infrastructure projects, including public spaces, facilities, and utilities.

Oversee the design of electrical systems across various projects, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Develop and manage electrical design specifications, calculations, and detailed drawings throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure compliance with local codes, industry standards, and environmental regulations in all electrical designs.

Conduct site assessments and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance of electrical installations.

Prepare project documentation, presentations, and reports for stakeholders and management review.

Review and approve design calculations, specifications, and drawings, ensuring design integrity and compliance with applicable codes.

Mentor and oversee the work of junior engineers and design team members.

Foster a culture of innovation within the team by exploring new technologies and design methodologies.

Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive design solutions that enhance the user experience.

Prepare and present technical reports and design proposals to stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

At least 15 years of experience in electrical design management, particularly in urban infrastructure projects.

Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead engineering teams effectively.

Strong understanding of electrical systems design, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.

Excellent communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders and presenting design ideas.

Proficiency in relevant electrical design software and tools.

Ability to collaborate across disciplines and work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

A commitment to sustainable design practices and innovation in engineering solutions.

Experience in the design / construction of at least one of the following building types : Education, Security, Religious, or Healthcare projects.

Proven leadership ability, capable of motivating and guiding engineering teams toward successful project delivery.

Desired :

Knowledge of KSA building and local authority regulations and design standards.

KSA construction project experience.
