Metso Saudi Arabia is looking for a strong Senior Sales & Business Development Manager, Minerals to join our Saudi organization and be part of a great team.

Purpose of the Position
With the present wave in the mining industry and Metso's strong product portfolio and the process knowledge – technical solution and technical sales support in terms of selecting the optimum process solution and equipment type / size plays a very important role in succeeding in winning new deals. The core purpose of this position is to drive the sales and business development in terms of quality, value addition of the offering, and to expand the area of solution / equipment offerings in the mining segment in Mineral Processing.
Areas of Responsibility
- Drive the business growth in Mineral Processing, mainly in integrated Solution Sales in the Wet Process Part, Process Island Offerings, stand-alone Flotation Offerings, Hydrometallurgy Solutions and Offerings, etc.
- Provide assistance for all ongoing sales cases in the above segment in Saudi Arabia.
- Identify potential offerings in the above segment in terms of solutions or improvement opportunities based on specific customer needs.
- Follow up on opportunity loss analysis and competitor’s activities.
- Maintain an excellent network with the global team to gather updates / best practices and implement the same in MEI. Also capture market / customer feedback and demand to the global team for support and business growth.
- Keep up to date with Metso equipment and process knowledge for Mineral Processing.
- Prepare and conduct customer visits, presentations, sales campaigns, product updates, and newsletters.
- Support other team members when needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Mining / Metallurgy / Mineral Processing Engineering7 to 10 years’ experience in a similar industryWilling to work in Saudi Arabia with no obstacles to domestic and international travelGood command of English (written and spoken); Arabic is an advantageAbility to work in a team atmosphere; problem solving and result orientedStrong leadership, relationship-building, communication, cooperation, interpersonal and presentation skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to plan, organize, work under stress, meet deadlines, and work independentlyAbility to make reliable decisions under pressureSkills in building and managing internal relationships and understanding customer needs and market requirementsKnowledge of typical business transactions including costing, pricing, profit calculation, quote preparation, and terms and conditionsValid driving licenseAdditional Information
