Overview
Sr. Product Specialist – Orthopedics (WZ & EZ) at Zahrawi Group. Zahrawi Group is a leading GCC healthcare company with presence in UAE, KSA, Qatar, Bahrain, & Oman, supplying and distributing products and services to Hospitals, Clinics, Laboratories, and Analytical Industries.
The incumbent will be accountable to promote products and services to customers, discover and pursue new sales prospects, negotiate contracts, and maintain customer satisfaction with the aim of maximizing profits.
Accountabilities
- Adhere to all Zahrawi Policies & Procedures as applicable.
- Market Knowledge
Conduct market research to identify new potential customers.
Analyze market trends to identify new products in the market and understand their advantages and disadvantages.Identify product improvements and new products to evaluate their position in the industry.Plan and assist with new product releases and events.Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.Business DevelopmentEstablish contact with new customers to inform them of our products and brands, understanding their needs and customizing the offer.
Provide potential customers with support, information, and guidance by performing product demonstrations and gathering feedback.Follow up with new customers after the demo session to negotiate contracts and packages.Ensure all contract details are compliant with our rules & regulations.MarketingCoordinate with the Marketing Department for any new materials that need to be produced.
Maintain relationships with existing customers by providing support, information, and guidance.Recommend new products to existing customers as per their needs, providing support and guidance to ensure strong relationships.Provide product demonstrations to existing customers and gather their feedback.Assist customers in answering product-related questions in a professional and timely manner.Recommend service improvements to further build relationships and increase revenue.Advise helpful new product recommendations and suggestions to customers to increase revenue.Negotiate contracts and packages with existing customers.Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing Zahrawi standards.Contribute to the team effort by achieving the annual target set by management and assisting the team when needed.Operating TheatreAttend surgeries with doctors and nurses, assisting with any issues they might face with the equipment.
Data TrackPrepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and maintaining accurate records of all products sold.
OrdersPlace orders with the concerned purchase coordinator.
Follow up with Procurement & Logistics to ensure timely delivery.InvoicingCoordinate with Finance to ensure proper invoicing and follow up on collection / payment.
DeliveryCoordinate with the warehouse for timely deliveries.
ApplicationConduct training sessions for customers.
Assist customers with equipment usage and run validation tests to ensure understanding.Resolve issues customers may face while using the equipment.Requirements
Education : Bachelor’s degree in any medical science related field (including biomedical science, biology, biochemistry, nursing and applied sciences, etc.)Experience : 2+ years of experience in medical sales. Experience related to attending surgeries (Operating Theatre) is required.Job Specific Skills : Sound technical knowledge about human anatomy and the medical field; good communication and English language skills; good presentation and negotiation skills; good MS Office skills.Additional Details : Candidate will be based in Jeddah.
