Overview

The Director of Business Intelligence will lead the company’s data and analytics strategy, ensuring the effective use of business intelligence tools, processes, and insights to support decision-making across all business functions. This role will oversee BI governance, data architecture, reporting solutions, and advanced analytics initiatives, driving a data-driven culture that enhances operational efficiency and strategic growth. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement the company’s BI vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy. Partner with executive leadership to identify key business challenges and opportunities where BI can add value. Establish BI governance, data quality standards, and best practices. Data & Analytics Management

Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of BI tools, dashboards, and reports. Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of data used for analytics. Lead the integration of multiple data sources into a single, reliable source of truth. Introduce advanced analytics techniques such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI where applicable. Build, lead, and mentor a team of BI analysts, data engineers, and data scientists. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation. Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on BI tools and data literacy. Business Partnership

Collaborate with functional heads (Finance, Sales, Operations, HR, IT) to deliver actionable insights. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI solutions. Present findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear, actionable manner. Evaluate and implement BI tools and platforms (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SAP BI, Snowflake). Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in analytics, big data, and visualization. Qualifications

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Experience : Minimum 5-9 years in data analytics, BI, or related field. At least 4 years in a leadership role managing BI or data teams. Proven success in implementing enterprise-wide BI strategies. Skills : Strong knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar). Expertise in SQL, data warehousing, and ETL processes. Familiarity with big data platforms and cloud-based analytics (Azure, AWS, GCP). Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
