Overview

GovCIO is currently hiring for Lead I / O Cable Plant Technician. This position will be located in United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia and will be an onsite position.

Responsibilities

Installs, operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment. Performs maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software at customer and / or field locations. Analyzes and evaluates product performance. Troubleshoots malfunctions to resolve issues quickly. Installs, upgrades, and removes products ensuring coordination with engineering changes. Maintains customer relations and may provide onsite training.

• Assembles, installs, and configures systems and equipment based on site assessments and schematics.
• Completes system programming and optimization during installation.
• Performs routine maintenance, hardware configurations, and component replacements.
• Provides on-site end-user training on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Travels frequently to customer sites for field technician duties.

Location : ADAB, UAE; PSAB, KSA (Pending contract award).

Qualifications

High School diploma with 6-9 years of experience or equivalent. Clearance Required : Secret. Lead-level experience in installation of ducts, conduits, cabling, fiber optics, and related equipment. Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, and forklifts.
