Apt Resources is looking for a Spare Parts Sales Representative for our client in the power solutions industry based in Riyadh . The successful candidate will support aftermarket operations by promoting, selling, and coordinating spare parts for power equipment. This role requires both technical understanding and strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Support
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate spare parts recommendations
- Prepare quotations with correct parts selection and pricing
- Follow up on quotes, negotiate, and close orders
- Assist customers in identifying parts using catalogues and equipment data
- Provide after sales support and ensure customer satisfaction
Order Management
Process orders accurately in the ERP or CRM systemMonitor delivery timelines and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teamsTrack pending orders and update customers proactivelyCoordinate with procurement for non stock or special spare partsTechnical Coordination
Work with service engineers to ensure technical compatibilityReview equipment history and suggest preventive maintenance partsIdentify substitute parts when originals are discontinuedBusiness Development
Maintain strong relationships with existing customersIdentify upselling and cross selling opportunitiesExplore new industries and clients to grow the aftermarket businessMonitor competitor pricing and market activitiesData and Reporting
Keep CRM and ERP entries updatedPrepare regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and trendsEnsure compliance with sales procedures and pricing rulesRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fieldMinimum 3 to 5 years of spare parts sales experience, ideally in generators or power systemsStrong technical knowledge of gensets, engines, alternators, and related partsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsStrong problem solving and customer service orientationProficiency in MS Office and ERP or CRM systemsFluency in EnglishBenefits
