Spare Parts Planning Supervisor

الوصف الوظيفيPerform day-to-day activities to ensure workflow continuity and efficiency. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement. Assist in preparing timely and accurate reports aligned with company policies and standards. Supervise spare parts forecasting and assess requirements against planning assumptions. Monitor and report on the availability of spare parts, options, and consumables based on operational needs and backlog. Place purchase orders within agreed cost, lead time, and stock parameters. Track and expedite inbound spare parts deliveries, resolving any discrepancies or delays. Maintain an accurate and effective inventory control system, including regular physical inventory checks. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and equipment uptime. Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and statistical analyses on parts forecasts, consumption, and shortages. Support in developing annual departmental goals and budgets aligned with company objectives. Supervise and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and development opportunities. Support talent development through training, mentoring, and succession planning. Promote continuous improvement in team performance, systems, and processes to align with best practices and evolving business needs. Set and monitor performance goals in coordination with the reporting manager. Identify personal development needs and pursue learning opportunities beyond formal training. Stay updated with professional advancements, new technologies, and industry trends. Perform additional tasks as required to support departmental and organizational objectives. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline. Technical certifications in Equipment Planning are an advantage. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in equipment spare parts planning within the construction or heavy equipment industry.
