Cloud Architect

As a Cloud Architect at CNTXT, you will be responsible for developing and engineering cloud solutions based on Google Cloud Platform to support clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aiding their business transformation through cloud architecture solutions. You will ensure that critical applications are designed and optimized for high availability and disaster recovery. Additionally, you will assist engagement teams by analyzing specific business requirements, delivering quality client solutions, and communicating progress effectively.

This role requires strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with high-performing individuals across departments to meet customer requirements.

Principal Duties

Demonstrate knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-cloud, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability).

Demonstrate knowledge of DevOps tool chains and processes.

Define and advocate for cloud architecture vision from a strategic perspective, including platforms, tools, and systems.

Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural options for private, public, and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other services.

Create high-level and low-level solution documentation.

Provide technical expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues, including providing workarounds or escalating to service owners.

Ensure solutions are delivered within agreed timelines, working with project sponsors to manage scope and risk.

Offer thought leadership industry-wide and within the team to solve complex business requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

At least 4 years of experience as a cloud architect.

Implementation experience with at least one major public cloud provider : GCP, AWS, or Azure.

Familiarity with VMWare enterprise implementations.

Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies.

Google Cloud Architect certification or equivalent.
