Service Engineer

Responsible for the pre-installation, installation, commissioning, and repair of the equipment BCL sells. The job holder is also expected to provide technical assistance to the client Technicians and Engineers related to BCL equipment.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

Perform initial tests, physical inspection and calibration on receiving any new machine from supplier before deliver to the customer.

• Commissioning within time frame
• Penalty charges percentage

Responsible for assigned equipment installation / commissioning and maintenance.

Give demonstration to Biomedical / end user engineering department of hospitals.

Communicate with the technical personnel of principals, give feedback with equipment performance and get latest information to maintain and improve the performance of equipment.

Prepare reports for BCL and principals as per system requirement.

Prepare purchase requests, according to the requirement, for parts to be used in maintenance of equipment.

Proper record keeping of the received spare parts and consumed ones.

Perform Preventive Maintenance Test (PMT) on the equipment as required.

Provide complete satisfaction to customers by fixing the machines within the same day, upon call and visit customers twice a week.

Perform any other duties assigned by the management.

Education & Certifications

Degree in Biomedical / electrical / electronic / mechatronics / computer engineer.
