Perform routine inspections on pipelines to identify and assess structural issues of the pipelines with specialized equipment to conduct NDT in case of Steel piping
Monitor site installation, repair and maintenance operations
Prepare routine inspection reports and conducting meetings with the construction team for further vigilance to the potential problems which must be tackled accordingly to avoid any future non‐conformities
Understand engineering drawings including Project drawings and Instrumentation Diagrams, isometrics.
Ensure that the work meets the integrity and compliance requirements of international codes, standards, specifications, and the customer's project specifications
Qualifications
BSc in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university / Degree
Holder of IRCA Lead Auditor Certificate ISO 9001 : 2015
Member of Professional Engineer ( organization, or Chartered Engineer is desirable
The candidate should have at least 7 years of demonstrable piping inspection experience
Minimum of 7 years of QA-QC Inspector proven experience
Previous GCC experience is Mandatory, KSA projects experience ideally
Good understanding of engineering drawings including Project drawings and Instrumentation Diagrams, isometrics.
The inspector should have good communication skills with various stakeholders in the construction environment Familiar with relevant standards, codes and regulations in pipelines and welding.
