Job Description
Summary of Responsibilities & Authorities :
- Maintain close relations with fleet owners.
- Understand the characteristics, capabilities, and features of used trucks.
- Provide potential customers with detailed information, including comparisons of different models.
- Assist customers with completing relevant documents for sales or complaint resolution.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets.
- Explain product performance, applications, and benefits to customers.
- Describe all optional used equipment available for purchase.
- Offer test drives in coordination with the Regional Sales Manager.
- Understand customer requirements and interests; match them to appropriate models.
- Explain warranties and after-sales services.
- Participate in training and development programs (domestic and international).
- Enhance company reputation through professional conduct and collaboration.
- Conduct daily visits and follow-ups with customers.
- Identify new potential customers.
- Prepare sales offers.
- Report sales activities and market conditions to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Build rapport with potential customers to foster future sales opportunities.
- Maintain customer database and communicate regularly.
- Close sales by overcoming objections, negotiating prices, completing contracts, and explaining warranties, services, and financing options, in coordination with the Regional Sales Manager.
- Gather information on competitors' activities and market prices.
- Recommend realistic market-acceptable price levels to stay competitive.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degreeProven experience as a sales representative in the used truck industryExcellent knowledge of truck models, features, and specificationsStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to build and maintain strong customer relationshipsGoal-oriented with a record of meeting / exceeding sales targetsFamiliarity with CRM software and sales reporting systemsValid driver's license and willingness to travelAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to adapt to market and customer demandsSkills
