Role Overview
The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing the end-to-end solution architecture of the modernized system, ensuring alignment between functionality, integration, and overall technology strategy. This role is critical in shaping both the functional architecture and the integration architecture , supporting the delivery of a robust, scalable, and future-ready solution.
The post holder will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to ensure that all solution components are designed and integrated seamlessly to meet business objectives and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive solution architecture covering both application functionality and integration layers .
- Lead architectural decisions to support modernization efforts, ensuring alignment with the organizations future-state technology vision.
- Work closely with business and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient solution designs.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to implementation and optimization.
- Ensure that solutions adhere to best practices in integration patterns , security, and compliance.
- Identify potential risks within the architecture and develop mitigation strategies.
- Stay informed on emerging technology trends and recommend innovative solutions to enhance system capabilities.
- Prepare and present technical documentation and architecture blueprints to stakeholders, including executives and delivery teams.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Minimum of 8 years experience in solution architecture design for large-scale modernization projects, preferably in social insurance or similar domains .Deep understanding of future-state enterprise technology stacks , including cloud-based and hybrid environments.Strong experience in designing and developing integration IT solutions , with expertise in :Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts and frameworks.SOAP and RESTful APIs.Microservices architectures.Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) solutions.Preferred knowledge and exposure to emerging technologies , such as :Mobile application architecture.Big Data solutions and analytics.Internet of Things (IoT).AI / ML and automation trends.Strong English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both technical and business stakeholders.Core Competencies
