Solutions Architect

Overview

We are looking for an accomplished Solution Architect – Temenos Core Banking to join our banking client's growing team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a 3 year program of work paying competitive salary + family medical and visa + annual flights. Must have previous experience in the KSA banking industry. Required Qualifications & Experience

Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience : At least 10 years of total IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in solution architecture for banking systems and enterprise applications. Temenos Core Banking : Demonstrated hands-on experience with Temenos T24 / Transact R18, R24,R25, Payments Hub, and integration with enterprise banking modules. Prioir experience in migrating T24 transact R18 to R24 / R25 will be preferred Enterprise Applications : Experience designing and implementing enterprise systems like reconciliation platforms, statement and advice automation, notification engines, customer communication workflows, and data management solutions. Data Localisation : Direct experience in designing solutions for regulated markets, with strong knowledge of KSA data residency, privacy laws, and compliance mandates. Integration Skills : Proficiency in designing and overseeing complex integrations using APIs, middleware, and modern cloud or hybrid platforms (e.g., microservices, containerization). Security & Compliance : Deep understanding of security, privacy, and compliance within the financial services sector. Project Delivery : Proven experience leading cross-functional project teams and delivering mission-critical banking platforms on time and within budget. Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage. Certifications : Certifications in solution architecture (TOGAF, OCI, AWS etc.) and Temenos technologies are highly desirable. Key Attributes and Competencies

Solution Architecture & Design : Lead the end-to-end solution architecture for Core banking platforms ensuring alignment with our business strategy and regulatory requirements, particularly around data localisation in KSA. Temenos Core Banking Expertise : Act as the subject matter expert for Temenos Core Banking, Payments, and associated modules. Guide teams in developing, customizing, and integrating Temenos solutions within our ecosystem. Enterprise Platform Integration : Architect and oversee the integration of enterprise applications, including but not limited to reconciliation engines, statement and advice generators, notification engines, customer communication platforms, and workflow automation tools. Data Localisation Program Leadership : Design and implement solutions that comply with Saudi Arabian data residency and localisation mandates, ensuring all systems and integrations are compliant with local regulations and best practices. Technical Solution Governance : Define and enforce architectural principles, best practices, and technical standards for banking applications and enterprise platforms. Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with business, operations, IT, compliance, and vendor partners to gather requirements, validate solutions, and ensure seamless delivery. Security & Risk Management : Ensure that all solution designs incorporate the highest standards of data security, privacy, operational resilience, and risk controls. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer : Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and provide guidance and knowledge sharing to internal teams and stakeholders. Continuous Improvement : Monitor technology trends and emerging best practices in banking systems, proposing innovative solutions to enhance performance, reliability, and scalability. About the KSA Data Localisation Program

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is placing significant emphasis on data sovereignty, privacy, and localisation. The Data Localisation Program aims to ensure all customer and transaction data is processed and stored within the KSA, adhering to local regulations and global best practices.
