Planning Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Planning Engineer

to join our real estate development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, monitoring, and updating project schedules, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to plan and track the progress of residential and commercial developments. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar software). Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants to gather project data. Monitor project progress and update timelines, identifying delays and recommending solutions. Prepare regular progress reports for senior management. Assist in resource planning and allocation to ensure efficiency and cost control. Analyze risks and propose mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and specifications. Support project documentation, including permits, contracts, and planning approvals. Coordinate with construction teams to ensure schedule adherence. Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience (3+ years) as a Planning Engineer, preferably in the real estate or construction industry. Proficiency in project planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project). Strong understanding of project lifecycle and construction processes. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and reporting skills in English (Arabic is a plus). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills

Experience with residential and commercial real estate projects. Knowledge of local regulations and permitting processes. PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
