Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

Develop and manage production and material plans in line with project requirements and delivery schedules. Create and maintain detailed job schedules, Gantt charts, and progress tracking reports. Monitor project execution, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions. Liaise with procurement to ensure on-time availability of raw materials, forgings, and components. Coordinate with Engineering and QA / QC to ensure product compliance with API standards. Conduct capacity planning and resource loading based on project backlog and forecasts. Update ERP / MRP systems with accurate job routing, lead times, and progress updates. Prepare weekly / monthly production status reports and participate in project review meetings. Assist in audits and documentation related to planning, scheduling, and API compliance. Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production planning processes.
