Job Description
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using advanced project management software
- Implement and oversee cost control systems to monitor project expenses and forecast future costs
- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
- Generate detailed performance reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders
- Lead and mentor a team of project control specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project goals and objectives
- Develop and implement standardized project control processes and best practices
- Monitor project progress against established baselines and recommend corrective actions when necessary
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
- Participate in contract negotiations and change management processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fieldMinimum 15 years of experience in project controls, preferably in large-scale rail projectsProven track record of successful project delivery and team leadershipAdvanced proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft ProjectStrong knowledge of cost control and forecasting toolsExperience with risk management software and methodologiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detailOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and stakeholdersDemonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing project control teamsProject Management Professional (PMP) certification preferredAdditional certifications in project controls or cost management (e.g., CCP, EVP) are a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPointIn-depth knowledge of the construction industry and familiarity with local regulations and standards in Saudi ArabiaAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously#J-18808-Ljbffr
