Fire Captain

a) Report to the Deputy Chief of Operations on all Operations and KAUST matters. Additionally, report to the Contract Representative for Contractor / KAUST matters. b) Deliver a high level of service on emergency scenes and daily operations of the fire department. Deal with and refer when appropriate any customer queries that arise. c) Manage the buildings, ensure health and safety of all persons inside and that attending Contractor Personnel carry out their duties. d) Manage the required level of staff coverage in case of sickness, absence or annual leave. e) Assist the Training / Health and Safety Coordinator in delivering in-house staff and KAUST community training. f) Take overall responsibility for the operations of the fire crews. g) Supervise Lieutenants and fire crews to ensure that they work effectively. h) Respond to emergency calls and ensure that crews respond in a timely manner. i) Respond to Emergency Action Plan as required, including building evacuation drills and training.
