We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM PY (Payroll) Consultant to join our team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Human Capital Management with a specialization in Payroll, capable of driving payroll processes, implementations, and support activities. This role involves working closely with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant payroll operations aligned with Saudi labor laws and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP HCM Payroll (PY) modules.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes including calculations, retroactive accounting, and post-payroll activities.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi payroll regulations, GOSI, WPS, and other statutory requirements.
- Conduct payroll testing, data validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
- Provide day-to-day support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely solutions to business users.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payroll with Time Management (TM), Personnel Administration (PA), and Finance (FI / CO).
- Develop functional specifications for payroll-related enhancements, interfaces, and reports.
- Support payroll cycle activities including pre-payroll validations and post-payroll reports.
- Deliver training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to HR / payroll teams.
- Stay updated on SAP HCM best practices and new releases relevant to payroll processes.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or related field.5+ years of experience in SAP HCM with a strong focus on Payroll (PY).Hands-on expertise in Saudi payroll configurations, schemas, and rules.Good understanding of Time Management, Personnel Administration, and integration with FI / CO.Experience with support, enhancement, and rollout projects in SAP HCM.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in both English and Arabic is an advantage.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in cloud solutions integration (e.g., SuccessFactors EC Payroll).SAP HCM or Payroll-related certification.Previous experience with multinational or large-scale organizations in Saudi Arabia.Seniority level
