Senior Network Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer – MPLS to join our team at the prestigious King Abdullah Financial District. This role is designated for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Cisco IOS XR and IOS XE platforms, MPLS technologies, and advanced routing protocols. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex service provider-grade network infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Platform Expertise : Perform software upgrades and hardware verification on Cisco NCS 5000 Series platforms running IOS XR 64-bit.
• Ensure platform stability, performance, and compliance with operational standards.
• Protocol Configuration & Troubleshooting : Configure and troubleshoot advanced IOS XR protocols including OSPF, ISIS, MP-BGP, BFD, MPLS LDP, Segment Routing, PIM, L3VPN, L2VPN, HSRP, RPL, MGMT interfaces. Provide expert-level diagnostics and resolution for protocol-related issues.
• Catalyst Switches (IOS XE) : Troubleshoot and optimize Layer 2 / 3 features on Catalyst switches (STP, ARP, Port-Channels). Ensure seamless integration with MPLS backbone and service provider infrastructure.
• Network Design & Optimization : Contribute to high-level network architecture and design initiatives. Support scalability, redundancy, and performance tuning across the MPLS domain.
• Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed technical documentation, including network diagrams, change logs, and incident reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business and operational goals.
